My husband and I sold our Atlanta metro area house at list price of $225,000 only 2 days after it went on the market.
Originally, we purchased the 4 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom property as new construction in 2014 for $169,900.
After closing, we walked away with $68,651.25 in proceeds. We dropped approximately $10,000 on some light remodeling / improvements and home staging. The proceeds also included getting our $20,000 down payment back.
This is the third home I have bought and sold, and the second with husband James.
