Just got back from another whirlwind trip to Nashville, Tennessee and checked out actress Reese Witherspoon’s flagship clothing/accessories/home décor store Draper James.
A few months ago, James and I stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center and had a great time.
My purpose of this trip was to attend Christy Wright’s Business Boutique for women conference, and I went solo.
I stayed at Hyatt Place Nashville/Brentwood, and it was a great value. It was actually more of a suite, had plenty of room, a pullout sectional sofa, wet bar, and desk area.
Each morning, the hotel serves a real hot breakfast with tons of options and fresh juice.
After driving up Thursday evening, I met up with a woman who I met in the Business Boutique Facebook group. She brought along her husband, and we all ate at Edley’s Bar-B-Que 12South – the same hip neighborhood as Craft South.
I ended up arriving early for dinner, and was THRILLED to discover next door – Reese Witherspoon’s new flagship store Draper James!!!
Witherspoon is one of my favorite actresses, and I’ve always been in tune with her style choices in films, TV appearances, and on the red carpet. She’s so freaking cute and hilarious!
While I loved all of the items, I walked out empty-handed. The prices were a bit steep for my budget – very similar to Kate Spade. (Canvas tote bags for $165, graphic tees for $58)
However, Kate Spade often has deep online discounts during frequent sales.
I’ll definitely be scoping out the Draper James website to scope out the sale section.
The next morning, I saw a Today Show segment where Witherspoon was interviewed by Jenna Bush Hager IN THE STORE!
